The Science Center assists students in courses under biology, chemistry and physics. Support services include providing group and individualized tutoring, lecture notes from designated courses and labs, and practice quizzes and exams.


Gaither Study Center -- 218 Gaither Complex

The Gaither Study Center offers students an environment to conduct independent study and computer-based assignments. Housed within the Center is the USSC Strick Ahead workshop series which offers several 50-minute academic success workshops each semester. Additionally, this location allows students limited print access. To schedule a workshop, please visit

Tutoring is now available at the Florida A&M University Honor House Monday through Friday throughout the spring semester.  The University Honor House is located directly from Jones Hall and the Dyson (Old) Pharmacy building at 1523 South MLK Jr. Boulevard.

Don't Stress! We've Got COLLEGE SUCCESS WORKSHOPS!

The FAMU Writing Resource Center and Coleman Library have teamed up to provide a series of evening workshops that address specific writing, research, and information literacy concerns. All workshops will take place in Room A410 Coleman Library. Students must bring their Rattler ID cards to sign in.
